Victoria is a Senior Coding Analyst for BESLER with over 29 years of experience in the healthcare field. She previously worked as the Regional Director of Coding and Auditing for a California-based integrated healthcare delivery system covering 21 facilities specializing in coding and CDI education, specialty-specific training, department presentations and one-on-one feedback to coding, CDI staff, physicians, local, regional, and national leadership.
In her volunteer role, Victoria served as Component State Association HIM Awareness Coordinator for California Health Information Association (CHIA) and President for Sacramento Valley Health Information Association (SVHIA).
Victoria has her RHIA, CDIP, CCS, CCS-P coding credentials and her ICD-10-CM/PCS AHIMA Trainer certification. She received a BS in Health Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati.
